Ostend - Moscow: 3 times a week

March 05, 2019

Since March of this year, the Russian low-cost airline Pobeda has been flying 3 times a week from Ostend to Moscow. Tickets are available from € 42 per person for a one-way flight. An international passport and visa are of course required. This new line is very good news for the Ostend-Bruges airport (OST). Both city trippers and companies from the region benefit from it.

A first in Belgium

Pobeda is part of the Russian Aeroflot. A brand new Boeing 737-800 is used for this new scheduled service. This is also the first and, for the time being, only activity of the Russian low-cost company in our country. The final destination is Vnukovo Airport (VKO), some 30 kilometres from the centre of Moscow. Flights are operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The management of Ostend-Bruges airport is already taking into account a potential increase in foreign users of this interesting flight connection, due to its favourable location in relation to northern France and the south-west Netherlands.
