Dear client,

Our employees in our Uniglobe agencies did everything in their power to get you back home safely in these corona times. Now I think it’s a good moment to let you hear from us once again.

We sincerely hope that all of you, together with your family and friends, are in good health. Hopefully you are succeeding in making the best of these strange and surprising times. We are thinking of you, and also supporting those who are affected.

But above all, let´s be positive: times of difficulty and suffering also immediately draw forth the strength and resilience that resides in people. Everywhere we’re seeing initiatives spring up that demonstrate our solidarity with one another. That gives us a genuine – and necessary – boost! It immediately also gives us the courage to look forward: let´s not give up hope, but instead already reflect about the post-corona period.

Because it´s coming, even if it will be different in many respects. The impact of the pandemic on businesses has been massive, and right now there is still a great deal of uncertainty. The recovery of the Belgian and the international economy will determine the rate at which we can gradually return to our familiar everyday life. The arrival of a vaccine will undoubtedly offer a greater sense of security and confidence. And yes, naturally: one day there will also come the time when we can travel again. And won´t that be a moment to enjoy!

In the meantime, we can take the time to reflect on a wide range of things: analyse business processes, optimise the organisation, develop new initiatives … Digitalisation and efficiency will certainly play a leading role here.

Already last year we had begun a number of major innovation projects at Uniglobe. For example, we invested in a brand-new booking platform – UBI (Uniglobe Booking Intelligence) – with a maximum offer of flights, hotels and extra travel services. We’ll also be using the coming period to further roll out and refine this system so that we are ready together with you for better days. And those days will come.

We wish you much strength and success. And let´s agree – once the virus is beaten – to see one another again soon and look forward together towards a beautiful, shared future.
