Meetings & Events: Exciting Tech Tools
May 14, 2019
There are many ways to surprise attendees of a meeting or an event. Recent developments in technology have inspired a lot of tech companies to come up with easy-to-use tools, that create opportunities for better meeting management, experience and feedback. We selected three of them, that have one common goal: increase the intensity of participation to the meeting or event.
Delegia: do-it-all event microsite
Delegia provides a cost-effective alternative to a mobile app. Delegia creates microsites that can be used on attendees’ smartphones or tablets. The system allows for invitations, registration and interaction at the event including voting and live questions for the participants. Follow-up post-event is an integral part.
Datakalab: feel the reaction of the crowd
Datakalab allows event planners to gain full knowledge of how each individual speaker or session is appreciated by the attendees. Datakalab uses facial coding tech and neuroscientific tools to measure attention and emotional commitment. It works by using a camera or webcam to capture 46 elements of the human face, while its algorithms can detect changes in micro expressions.
Eva: immediate help & answers
Eva is an event chatbot from Event2Mobile, that provides immediate answers to text questions from attendees. It can help attendees track down other useful delegates for networking, saving time and helping to share information, as well as answering questions on session content, directions and registration. Other useful functions are polling, surveys and live Q&A.
