Recent research showed that most online booking tools (OBT) for the business travel segment are in urgent need of improvement. They no longer meet the needs of the contemporary business traveller and offer companies too few features that support their Travel Policy.

• Around 73% of travel managers believe that corporate online booking tools should offer the same range of options as holiday travel offers. And that's frequently not the case right now.

• Just 50% of travel managers feel that they have enough scope within the crucial segments of flights and hotels. Just 10% is satisfied with the range of alternative accommodation.

• Less than 50% of travel managers think that corporate online booking tools offer a user-friendly and intuitive interface. It's often too complex, confusing and time consuming to use.

It is my role at UNIGLOBE to foster relationships with our partners and to expand our range so that our customers can continue to book with the best terms and conditions. It will also be possible to book, for example, a transfer, taxi ride or lounge pass soon. With the advent of UBI, we have now succeeded in bundling the complex world of various providers, platforms and connections together in one handy and user-friendly interface.
